According to his website, alexfox.com, Alex Fox began his music education at an early age working with guitar and piano. The Argentina native went on evolve throughout his music career into his own recording label, Alex Fox Productions Inc.
Fox’s Sound Room session exemplifies his stylistic creativity in a variety he has described as “A fusion of different styles, rhythms, and genres, varying from Flamenco, Latin rhythms, Gypsy airs, Russian styles, Latin Jazz and much more.”
This blend of style can be seen through the rhythm and tempo changes between Fox’s first song, “La Cumparsita” (0:00), described by Fox as a tango, and Fox’s upbeat second song “Desperado” (3:02). Fox’s third song, “Barcelona Nights” (5:41) offers any Sound Room listener the chance to close their eyes and be taken away by the beat.
The Sound Room was fortunate to get Fox into studio while traveling to Reading from Florida for the 2018 Berks Country Fest Guitar-A-Rama.
Fox’s 2017 album, “After All These Years,” can be found for digital purchase on iTunes and Amazon Music, or streamed on Spotify. This album includes some of Fox’s most popular songs such as “Guitar on Fire.”
