Nova Brings Life to Downtown Alive

Although Reading’s free Downtown Alive concert didn’t get a chance to host the Sugarhill Gang following a last-minute cancellation, the crowd made its way out for Supreem Da Rezarekta and local rapper Nova.

Supreem, who answered the phone at 3:45 to play that night’s show, was able to make it out and save the slot while DJ 3’s Co. filled in between each artist.

Reading fans were mos excited to see local rapper and Season 3 winner of “The Rap Game,” Nova. The hometown artist has become a fan favorite in Reading and an inspiration for kids in and out of Reading.

Regardless of fans missing their chance to “jump on it” with the Sugarhill Gang, great weather and great artists pulled out a packed show for Reading’s second-to-last free show of the Summer.

While you’re here, make sure to check out The Reading Eagle’s 360 coverage of Nova’s performance (above). We have you covered with a front row experience for “Look Out Below” and “Riding My Wave.”
